After another excellent Faux Pas recommendation from Dave (the first being Chasing Waterfalls, also excellent) I have been introduced to a fantastic remix of his. I had never heard of Paul Dempsey before, so I went to check out the original, and wow has this track come along way, from slightly sappy singer-songwriter to a chamber-choir-esque dance nugget. Worth taking a listen, and another and another.

It goes over so smoothly that it can unfortunately slip under the radar, but there are delicately serene moments that make me take notice (like when those steel drums appear, swoon). It has become a part of my regular rotation these days, and is certainly worth a listen. That’s not all Faux Pas has been up to though, he recently released a free album, Lostworks which you can grab on his blog. Oh, and did I mention he made my favorite remix of 2009? Seriously, check that. [...]
