Admittedly I saw this movie opening weekend, and didn’t think too much of the soundtrack until two days ago. I was listening to pacific! per Epsilon’s suggestion, and suddenly I heard other music faintly playing over it. It seemed I had rolled over some ad for the soundtrack that immediately began playing music. My first impulse was to be irritated, but then I was hypnotized by the song and had to learn more. Turns out it was a track by The Temper Trap, a group I’ve never heard of, but I seriously dig this song. I checked out the rest of the soundtrack, and wasn’t too marveled by anything else, especially not She & Him‘s cover of The Smiths, so I have also included the original, because there is nothing wrong with that.
