This has definitely been the week of holdups at D.I.D. I’m still waiting on a couple of tracks for my Real Estate/Twigz feature from the weekend, but it will definitely be worth the wait. In the meantime, simmer on the new LP from Taken By Trees. The gorgeous, Dan Lissvik produced album weaves traditional Pakistani instrumentation with Bergsman’s beautiful voice. They even traveled to Pakistan to ensure the record would be as authentic as possible. Some of the tracks are a little too traditional, but it’s definitely worth the $9 at iTunes or Amazon.
