My heart is broken. After three long months of day counting, I was forced to give my
Phoenix/Passion Pit tickets to a couple of lucky readers. I’ve been listening to them non-stop ever since Malcolm Perkins of
Your Nature showed me the video for
If I Ever Feel Better in the fall of my freshman year. I like to think of them as a more beautiful, French version of
The Strokes. I was fortunate enough to catch their set at the Music Hall of Williamsburg last June, and it was easily one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. It was great to see how deep
Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix hit with the audience. You must see them before they return to Euroland.
In memoriam of those fallen tickets, you get to listen to my favorite Phoenix remixes. Bonus Chief adventure.
