WHO WE ARE
Dipped in Dollars (D.I.D.) is the brainchild of Chief and Danger. While attending a crazy liberal arts college in Vermont, we realized our mutual love of righteous dance music, art, and the people behind them. D.I.D. exists to share this love with you and hopefully turn you on to something new. More about the brains behind the brawn, here.
This site exists to promote artists, if you hear something you like, think about throwing the artist(s) a few dollars, buy an album, go to a concert, show them you care. If any artists or official people want us to take any of our links down, just shoot us an email and we'll take care of it. Happy Listening!
Neon Indian faz um belĂssimo remix de 'Cheerleader', do Grizzly Bear http://dippedindollars.com/2009/11/30/neon-indian/
Agreed that I like Neon Indian more than I did at first listen, but while he has some tight tracks, I think there are a lot of other artists out there doing what he does better. Most of these feelings are probably stemming from the fact that I thought “Should Have Taken Acid With You” was the best song title for the most disappointing song. I have become jaded (I’m also way jacked up on coffee right now), don’t listen to me.
ps. That Grizzly Bear remix is tight, but I don’t know if there’s anything you could do to that song to make me not like it. <3
I love this remix (and the other neon indian remix of this) and neon indian, but if you want some artists that do chillwave really great (besides Washed Out, etc.) check out Toro y Moi. He is by far my favorite chillwave. It’s all about Talamak and Blessa (his 2 best songs). SOOOOO good.
p.s. I’ll hit you up on the rss
Thanks for the suggestion, and we already love Toro Y Moi. Good taste has you.
