Hudson Mohawke has quite the story. Hailing from Glasgow, he was the youngest DJ to ever reach the
DMC World Finals (at 15) and earned most of his attention through of unofficial tracks and mixes.
Warp snatched him last year and
Butter, his first official
Warp LP, was one of the best albums I’ve heard in awhile. This kid makes some of the best beats out there. He also just dropped my vote for best
Essential Mix of the year, so you’ve got to grab some of this music.
