Sometimes I feel as if I have been living under a rock. First heard about Small Black through Teenage Elephant. They fall in the same vein as Washed Out, Toro Y Moi and the like. This so-called “chillwave” is a musical trend that I’m thoroughly enjoying. Laid back jams that are easy to love are exactly what I need more of in my life. The Washed Out remix of “Despicable Dogs” is a delightful bonus. I can’t wait to hear more from these guys.
