Hot Chip, “One Life Stand”

hotchip

So admittedly, I don’t really know that much about Hot Chip. Once upon a time I looked into their music, and “Ready For The Floor” was the one that stuck (and with a song like that, how could I ever long for more?). Just kidding, I just never got around to checking out any other stuff by them. Well now they’re about to release a new album, and embark on a tour with The xx (I will be at their DC show for sure). “One Life Stand” is the taste that we have to go on, and I love what I’ve heard so far (with a title like that, how could you lose?). It starts off a little somber, but before long you will be dancing around your room/kitchen/house/everywhere. Let’s go.

  3. Wow, I wonder what it must feel like to be a person that spends time commenting on blog posts they don’t care about. Must be sad for you.

WHO WE ARE

Dipped in Dollars (D.I.D.) is the brainchild of Chief and Danger. While attending a crazy liberal arts college in Vermont, we realized our mutual love of righteous dance music, art, and the people behind them. D.I.D. exists to share this love with you and hopefully turn you on to something new. More about the brains behind the brawn, here.

This site exists to promote artists, if you hear something you like, think about throwing the artist(s) a few dollars, buy an album, go to a concert, show them you care. If any artists or official people want us to take any of our links down, just shoot us an email and we'll take care of it. Happy Listening!
