I am already enamored with Au Revoir Simone and Aeroplane, but the combination of the two creates a gorgeous cloud of sound that will take over your life. The songs become danceable, but still maintain the appropriate sense of melancholy. I have been listening to this remix of Au Revoir Simone‘s latest single all weekend, and listened to “Paris” for the better part of this year. I am infinitely and continually impressed by the beauty streaming out of my headphones right now, and only hope that there are many more remixes in store.
