One of my favorite concerts of all time was a Joanna Newsom/Casey Dienel show I saw in the fall of my freshman year. Someone had given me Casey’s cd early in September, and it quickly became the soundtrack of the entire semester. Since then, Casey moved from the East to Portland and formed White Hinterland. I’m really getting into Icarus. Gorgeous voices combined with the right amount of beats/synths to keep it on repeat. Any fans of Camille will love this. Check them on tour this winter.

WHO WE ARE

Dipped in Dollars (D.I.D.) is the brainchild of Chief and Danger. While attending a crazy liberal arts college in Vermont, we realized our mutual love of righteous dance music, art, and the people behind them. Along the way we were joined by Crimson and B.Darko. D.I.D. exists to share this love with you and hopefully turn you on to something new.
