I was excited when I first learned of a new Four Tet album, and I have been listening to and musing on it for the past week. As it is with most albums that are mostly instrumental, I tend to think of it more as a whole than as a sum of its parts. There is Love In You is a 47 minute meditation with highs, lows, and plenty of magical moments. It isn’t new and explosive, rather satisfyingly familiar and perfect for relaxing on a quiet winter day such as this.

I hadn’t really given this album too much listen because it was so “familiar” but with a second listen here I’m hooked.
