I first heard Dimlite when Smax mixed Quiz Tears into a set last October, and I’ve been hooked ever since. This producer from Switzerland sounds a little like his friends Teebs and Dorian Concept, and is known for the intense environments he weaves around his sample-clad beats. He also releases gorgeous lo-fi material under the name Misel Quitno that you must check out (especially Sleepover Pieces Volume I). Prismic Tops, his latest release on Now-Again, officially drops May 4, but the good people at Stones Throw have made the album available on their store right now.

Dipped in Dollars (D.I.D.) is the brainchild of Chief and Danger. While attending a crazy liberal arts college in Vermont, we realized our mutual love of righteous dance music, art, and the people behind them. Along the way we were joined by Crimson and B.Darko. D.I.D. exists to share this love with you and hopefully turn you on to something new.
