I first heard
Dimlite when
Smax mixed
Quiz Tears into a set last October, and I’ve been hooked ever since. This producer from Switzerland sounds a little like his friends
Teebs and
Dorian Concept, and is known for the intense environments he weaves around his sample-clad beats. He also releases gorgeous lo-fi material under the name
Misel Quitno that you must check out (especially
Sleepover Pieces Volume I).
Prismic Tops, his latest release on
Now-Again, officially drops May 4, but the good people at
Stones Throw have made the album available on their
store right now.

Dimlite – Diana Won’t
Dimlite – Elbow Flood
