Why did I wait this long to listen to Surfer Blood? Better late than never, isn’t that what they’re always saying? Anyway, this album has been really hitting the spot as of late, there isn’t a single track that disappoints, and that made the selection process for this post all the more difficult. Lush pop tunes with the obvious surf influence are exactly what I need more of in my life these days. With summer on the horizon, it would be in your best interest to enter this album into your rotation now. This music easily paints a picture of a season of sun, car windows rolled down en route to the playa, and I can’t wait for that to become a reality. So what are you waiting for, join me in my lust for summer.
