• Chromeo – “Don’t Turn The Lights On” •

I just received notice of the new single from the upcoming Chromeo album, Business Casual. Ever since watching this video at Daryl Hall’s house, the influence of Hall & Oates on their music has become ever clearer. With the release of “Don’t Turn The Lights On”, it feels as if their sound is being pulled further back in time, which I am obviously in support of. At the same time, I feel that this track is ripe for the remixing, and I can’t wait to see what people do with it. They’re on tour this summer supported by several acts, including Neon Indian, so it’s bound to be a good time.

I agree about their sound completely. They have such a retro feel and its awesome. Business Casual is definitely an album I’m looking forward to.
