What I’ve heard from SVIIB‘s upcoming Disconnect From Desire has me very excited. In their second installment, guitarist Ben Curtis and sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza continue to pour on beautiful cascades of guitar droning, ambient harmonies, and electric frenzy in an expansion in sound from their first gem laden album, Alpinisms. Their live show, involving beat blasting laptops, tight vocal harmonies, and Curtis’ electronic sound-scaping should be a treat for the senses as well. They are on tour in Europe through July and will be stopping in many U.S. cities in the fall. You can stream the entire album at the band’s website before it drops everywhere on 7/13.
