Com Truise recently dropped this chill jam called
Sundriped. There has been a lot of
negative criticism surrounding the whole
chillwave scene, but I love how it’s helping to bridge the gap between those who produce with
Pro Tools and those who produce with
Ableton/
Reason. I’m interested to see how it will influence popular music in the next couple of years.
Cyanide Sisters is
free, and you must check it out.

So…is there a big rift between protools users and Ableton/reason users? I didn’t know there was…outside of some typical lame argument of “my thing is better”. Also…a few songs on this page definitely made with Logic. And Ableton and reason are pretty different animals. Just wondering if there is a citation for this “rift”?
thx
I love the chillwave/glo fi/bedroom rock movement. Though I do wish it translated a little better at the live shows.
