Florrie‘s debut EP was released last Wednesday, and I nabbed it just hours before getting on a plane to her homeland. I’d heard her name being tossed about, but wasn’t completely sold until I watched a video of a live performance of “Give Me Your Love” (thanks to Brilliantly Different) and fell in love with not only the fantastic pop track, but also with how freaking adorable she is (plus she drums and sings at the same time, so badass!). Girl crushes aside, this EP succeeds for me on a sonic level as pure unfettered pop at its best. By this point perhaps you’re wondering how it could get any better, but it can and does. She’s giving away all of her tracks for free on her website, and now you share in my (exquisite) problem of being unable to get them out of my head.
