Dedicating much of my time to the discovery and cultivation of new music, I’ve noticed a clear shift in my attachment to the medium. We process music and pleasure in the
same areas of the brain, and the extent to which we’re using it to define ourselves in relation to one another has become a little overbearing. I cannot explain why a certain song resonates within me, but the way that it can become a facet of my being is why I still search for new music.
Helvetia‘s
Old, New Bicycle typifies a time in my life that is over. Revisiting this song is just like time traveling. The band is actually still around and
needs help booking an upcoming tour, so please
support these guys however you can.
