Volta Bureau is a DC based trio comprised of Will Eastman, Outputmessage and Micah Vellian. I was lucky enough to get the chance to attend the record release party for their single “Hope” this past weekend. It’s a gorgeous track, meditative and calm, set to some slightly disturbing imagery in the video above. I’m always excited to hear wonderful things coming out of my hometown, and we can be sure to expect more greatness from these guys. For now, check out some of their other tracks on their soundcloud.

Dipped in Dollars (D.I.D.) is the brainchild of Chief and Danger. While attending a crazy liberal arts college in Vermont, we realized our mutual love of righteous dance music, art, and the people behind them. Along the way we were joined by Crimson and B.Darko.
