‘My Queen’ is a dusty and delicate soul ode by the mysterious Dirg Gerner (who may or may not be fLako), and his debut EP has just been released on Alexander Nut‘s Ho Tep Records. Preface draws heavily on the soul, jazz, latin, and hip hop sounds floating around the Eglo/Ho Tep/Rinse FM family, and his record is a broad and buried love affair with special appearances by Rahel, Olmino, and Fatima. Chief learned a lot about art and recording in the Green Mountains and is currently working on an album in Minneapolis.
