Lapalux is 2/2 with the tracks from his sophomore release on Brainfeeder. “Forgetting And Learning Again” is one of his most gorgeous works to date, with help from Kerry Leatham and a serious wall of sound that crushes around the 2:30 mark. It’s something that would have fit right in on When You’re Gone, especially after a tune like “102 Hours of Introductions”, but listening to “The Hours” repeatedly is taking this somewhere else. Keep your eyes peeled when it’s officially out on October 16.
