fLako’s “Mating Dance” swirls in complex layers and genres, juxtaposing latin percussion with r&b harmonies, live guitar, and solemn electronic instrumentation to create a sound we’ve fallen in love with over the last few months. Dirg Gerner has built an impressively diverse catalog with his releases on Project: Mooncircle and Ho Tep Records, and Eclosure is sure to articulate an even wilder frontier. Dipped in Dollars (D.I.D.) is the brainchild of Chief and Danger. While attending a crazy liberal arts college in Vermont, we realized our mutual love of righteous dance music, art, and the people behind them. Along the way we were joined by Crimson and B.Darko. D.I.D. exists to share this love with you and hopefully turn you on to something new.
