• LP: Amalia – Makings Of •

Tokyo Dawn Records had me preview Amalia‘s Makings Of, the prodigious sophomore effort of their future funk songstress. It’s a bit of a departure from the tracks we heard on her previous album, Art Slave, focusing more on the vocalist’s ability to traverse a variety funk styles on collaborations with producers that include B. Bravo, Opolopo, Reggie B, and Cutty Lark. The album was released yesterday, and you can grab it here.
