Deft – “Illicit Fantasy” (fLako Remix)

“Illicit Fantasy” is new territory for fLako, who transports Deft‘s hard hitting original into a somber field of organic electronics and frenetic footwork rhythms. VIDEO: Gang Colours – “Fancy Restaurant”

Gang Colours stood out in Gilles Peterson‘s show the other week, and I’ve really come to enjoy his video for “Fancy Restaurant”. The song has the same linear progression as James Blake‘s “The Wilhelm Scream”, building a single vocal line into a soft meander of pianos, off beat textures, and post-dub rhythms. The single will be released on the February 20 and feature remixes by Machinedrum, Ifan Dafydd and Deft.
