I just caught wind of a little festival Underwater Peoples is hosting in upstate New York this July called Mountain Man Fest. The lineup includes performances by D.I.D. favorites Islands, Health, Memoryhouse, Phantogram, Alex Bleeker and the Freaks, Real Estate and Summer Camp. Memoryhouse has been another excellent find. These Ontarians just released a free EP of minimal, blissed out glo-fi that gives me hints of Nite Jewel, but with way smoother edges.
