Young Montana sent over this glitch-heavy remix he did of Tawiah‘s Sweet Me. It seems like everyone has been asking him to do remixes these days (including Beat Connection, Groundislava and our friends over at Astro Nautico), and things are really rolling for his debut releases on Alpha Pup this spring. His Sacré Cool single will be out April 5th and Limerence, his debut LP, drops May 3rd.

I was all over Beat Connection last summer, so I was pleasantly surprised when they sent me this video for “Silver Screen”. The tripped out psychadelic imagery is all the rage these days, and I’m on board. The summer jam pre-season is officially here.

So it was exactly one year ago today, that we had our first post here at D.I.D. I can’t believe it’s already been a year, we’ve come so far. The boys from Beat Connection, a Seattle based duo, recently sent over their debut EP, Surf Noir. These eight tracks are light and summery with a heavy dose of nostalgia, and are perfectly reminiscent of the sand and surf. Considering that they’re giving away this delightful bundle of songs for FREE on their bandcamp, you’d really be a fool to pass this up.
