It’s been over a year and a half since Dorian Concept has graced these pages, but he’s fortunately beginning to utilize his soundcloud and has yielded another new gem. Magic Dog Years barely has enough time to linger before it’s over, but you can hear how his sound is continuing to influence a new generation of beatmakers. Her Tears Taste Like Pears was released through Ninja Tune this March, and you can find it on Amazon for less than $4.

All of this music from Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing and Joker has been getting me deeper into Dorian Concept. He is probably my favorite Austrian out there right now, and his sparse beats + sonic quality is really making me move. I see some big things in this RBMA alum’s future.
