° Not Justice, “Beginning of the End” °

I was recently shown the DVD portion of Justice‘s A Cross The Universe, and it got me thinking about how their upcoming release was going to stack up against new material from Daft Punk and Breakbot. This is going to be an interesting a year for the heavy hitters.

Is this really Justice? Nope.

Steve Justice – Trying To Make Friends

° DJ Mehdi °

I just bought my ticket for ED Banger’s 7th Birthday Bash at Terminal 5 (primarily to see Breakbot + Justice destroy New York), and didn’t really understand why DJ Mehdi was on the bill. That was until I heard snippets from his latest release, Red, Black & Blue and commend him for doing a brilliant job of transforming the originals into an entirely new listening experience. I’m not saying that all of his previous work is terrible, I dig a lot of the songs from Lucky Boy. I’m really excited for this show. Check out his SO ME directed video for I Am Somebody.

DJ Mehdi – I Am Somebody (feat. Chromeo)

Uffie – Pop The Glock (DJ Mehdi Casco Edit)

Justice – The Party (DJ Mehdi Edit)

WHO WE ARE

Dipped in Dollars (D.I.D.) is the brainchild of Chief and Danger. While attending a crazy liberal arts college in Vermont, we realized our mutual love of righteous dance music, art, and the people behind them. D.I.D. exists to share this love with you and hopefully turn you on to something new.

This site exists to promote artists, if you hear something you like, think about throwing the artist(s) a few dollars, buy an album, go to a concert, show them you care. If any artists or official people want us to take any of our links down, just shoot us an email and we'll take care of it.

If you wish to contact the team, send mail to did@dippedindollars.com or for individual addresses, check here. (But please not both, duplicates are a drag)
