So by now it’s pretty obvious that over here at D.I.D., we love ourselves a good Phoenix remix, and are highly anticipating the rest of the Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix remix album. Here are two entirely different remixes of “Love Like A Sunset”, one by Passion Pit drummer “Shuttle” and the second by Animal Collective. Just when you thought it wasn’t possible for a Phoenix song to get any better, you realize you thought wrong.

I can’t believe how exhausted I am right now! But on to more interesting things… I’ve loved Passion Pit (I don’t know, boys singing about feelings that I can dance to, what’s not to love?) since the beginning, but at that time this blog didn’t exist, and neither did their full length, alas. It seems past the stage of wonderment and excitement about the wundergroup, but I still dig ‘em, and I found this lovely remix a few months ago that I wanted to share, nothing too drastic, just adding a little danceability. Plus for the first time today (shame, shame) I watched the video for “The Reeling” and it’s a good time waiting to be had, I also wish that I had more shows in my life like that.
