I’ve been revisiting some of my favorite remixes lately and I couldn’t help getting re-hooked on Paris’ David Rubato. His musicality and unique approach to dance music warrants more attention than he’s received over the years, and his cross-remixing with noteworthy artists (Siriusmo, Camille, Aeroplane, and Midnight Juggernauts) speaks to his palatable sense for creation and reinterpretation. While Rubato has not been particularly active since 2008, these tracks still hit the spot and are worth checking out.

There have been some great Siriusmo interviews to emerge within the last couple of weeks, and this video for Signal reminds me why Mosaik is such a classic. Its imagery and storyline fits right in with his video for Einmal In Der Woche Schreien, and I’m curious to see where this whole theme is going. You should purchase Mosaik wherever you can find it.
